As part of MONS 2015, a symposium on Crossovers Culture & Technology is organised on May 26, 2015. Divided into two main themes, this gathering will take place at the Théâtre le Manège.
The morning sessions, entitled « Content Is The Key », will be dedicated to crossovers from culture to innovation in society with a particular focus on social innovation in citizen practices. It will go through the involvement of citizens in their cultural practices, digital training, the access to knowledge, the inputs from cultural makeathons and the new usage of content.
The afternoon will focus on crossovers from the arts to innovation in the industry with a session entitled “Creativity Is The Key”. This part will be sub-divided into two panels dedicated to crossovers from culture and the arts to innovation in society and industry for the former and to innovation at the nexus of science, technology and the arts for the latter. These panels will go through creativity and critical thinking, innovation stimulation, conversion of science and technology knowledge, and the new European Commission STARTS programme. |
